Notice: Mary Josephine Brown, a former resident of Drumcondra, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2023, in the compassionate care of Suncroft Lodge nursing home. She was the cherished daughter of the late Mary Josephine and Patrick Joseph Brown. Mary was a beloved mother to Catherine and Aine, as well as a dedicated grandmother to Keisha and Mia. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, six brothers, Willie, Dermot, Maurice, Pauge, Des, and Bernard, and her sister Vera. Mary will be deeply missed by her friends and family around the globe.
The funeral services will be held at Kildare Funeral Home in Fairgreen, Kildare on Monday evening, July 31, from 5-7pm. The Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday at 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour in Foxrock, Dublin 18, with interment to follow at Deansgrange Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland through the provided donate button.
