Notice: May O’Neill, also known as Mary O’Brien, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023, at the age of 93. She was residing at Silverstream Nursing Home in Duleek at the time. May is survived by her children Jean, Liam, Patrick, Stella, Anthony, Martin, Noeleen, and David. She was predeceased by her husband Paddy and brother Jem. May will be deeply missed by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law Michael and Giovanni, daughters-in-law Geraldine, Carol, Ann, and Anne, as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Michael, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 11.30am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, with burial taking place afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery. May is survived by her eight children, Jean, Liam, Patrick, Stella, Anthony, Martin, Noeleen, and David, and is preceded in death by her husband Paddy and brother Jem. May will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her sons-in-law Michael and Giovanni and daughters-in-law Geraldine, Carol, Ann, and Anne. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Michael, and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held on Monday from 4pm to 7pm at Townley’s Funeral Home.
