Young, May, {formerly of Dunleer, Co. Louth and Coolock}, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2023, with her devoted family by her side and under the exceptional care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital. She was the cherished mother of Siobhán, Deirdre, Emer, and Sinéad. May was predeceased by her beloved husband Pat and will be deeply missed by her daughters, sons-in-law Robert, Donal, Fintan, and Shane, as well as her grandchildren Tony, Paddy, Eamonn, Eoin, Ciara, Rían, Sadbh, and Oisín. She also leaves behind her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbors.
Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Maypark, Donnycarney on Thursday afternoon, August 3, from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of St. Brendan, Coolock on Friday morning at 11am, followed by burial in Fingal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Beaumont Hospital Foundation.
