MELANIE HALPIN LUCAS

Melaine Halpin Lucas of Ard Aliann, Sherlock Walk, Gracedieu, Waterford passed away on 30th July 2023. She was formerly a barmaid at Jack Meade’s Bar on Morisson’s Road. Melanie peacefully passed away in University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her mother Benny {Lucas}, and her children Kayden and Leighton. She will be greatly missed by her sister Caroline, brothers Richie and Martin, as well as her uncles, aunts, nephew, extended family, relatives, neighbors, and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace. The funeral arrangements include a viewing at Thompson’s Funeral Home on Barrack Street, Waterford, on Wednesday {2nd August} from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, with vigil prayers and a rosary at 8 pm. On Thursday, there will be a procession from the funeral home to the Holy Family Church, followed by a Mass at 11 am and burial at St. Otteran’s Cemetery.
