Notice: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Micheal Cunningham Meelick from Boyounagh, Glenamaddy, Co. Galway. He passed away suddenly at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after bravely facing a long illness. We remember him fondly as the beloved husband of Bridie, father of Christina, Breeda, and Alan, and cherished grandfather of Callum, Amelia, Iarla, Micheal, and Carla. Micheal is predeceased by his parents, Delia and Richard Cunningham. He will be deeply missed by his brothers-in-law, Peter Keaveney and PJ Conneely, sisters-in-law, Teresa Keaveney and Margaret Conneely, cousins, extended family, friends, and supportive neighbors. Let us remember Micheal’s gentle soul and may he rest in peace.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Divilly’s Funeral Home in Glenamaddy, F45XY45, on Monday, August 7th, from 5pm to 7pm. There will be a removal from his home on Tuesday, August 8th, to St. Patrick’s Church in Glenamaddy for Mass at 1pm. After the service, burial will take place in Boyounagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson’s Association would be greatly appreciated.
