Michael Daly

Notice: Michael Daly, a former resident of Drumcondra in Dublin, passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2023, in the company of his family and under the excellent care of Blake Manor Nursing Home in Ballindereen, Co Galway. He is survived by his wife Rosaleen, his sons Eoghan, Jared, and Conor, and his grandchildren Niamh, Lucas, Molly, and Lorcan, along with his siblings, Eileen, Joe, and Dan, and numerous relatives and friends. Daly’s remains will be reposing at home in Kinvara on Tuesday from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. A cremation service will take place at Shannon Crematorium the following day at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland or a charity of one’s choice.

In times of sorrow, it is common for family members to seek solace in each other. Daly’s family bid him a fond farewell during his last moments, surrounded by loved ones, with the staff at Blake Manor providing excellent care. Daly leaves behind a legacy of fond memories, as revealed by the heartfelt messages of condolence received by his family. In line with Daly’s wishes, his funeral will be a modest affair, with the emphasis placed on prioritizing the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland, which he wished to support even beyond the end of his life. Daly shall forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, sibling, and friend.
