Michael Hayes

Notice: Michael Hayes, a retired partner of PwC and resident of Drumcannon, Tramore, peacefully passed away on June 20, 2023, in University Hospital Waterford. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Marie. Michael is survived by his loving daughters Susan, Helen, and Ruth, his adoring grandchildren Rachel, Sophie, and Luca Michael, his sons-in-law Ulric and Brian, and his nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, relatives, neighbors, friends, and all who knew him. The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical staff at Bons Secours Hospital Cork for their exceptional care during Michael’s illness.

Visitation for Michael will be held at Falconer’s Funeral Home in Riverstown, Tramore, on June 23 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. His Requiem Mass will be held on June 24 at 11:30 am at Holy Cross Church in Tramore, followed by burial in St. Declan’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Waterford Hospice Support Centre are welcomed. The Hayes family respectfully requests privacy during this time.
