Obituary: Michael Hennessy
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Hennessy, a cherished resident of Clonard Park in Ballybeg, Waterford. On July 31st, 2023, Michael bid farewell to this world, leaving behind a legacy as a former member of Graves Timber Merchants.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved parents, sisters, and brothers, who now await him in eternal peace.
Left to mourn his loss is his devoted wife Bridget, along with their children John, Ger, Michael, and Clive. Also grieving their loss are their daughters Jo, Mandy, and Lily, as well as Michael’s grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and dear friends.
As we bid farewell to Michael, may he find eternal rest, comfort, and serenity.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the reposing hours on Tuesday at Michael’s residence from 4 pm to 7 pm. A vigil prayer and rosary will be held at 6:30 pm.
Out of respect for the grieving family, the house will be strictly private outside of the designated reposing times.
On Thursday, a solemn procession will commence from Michael’s residence to St. Saviours Church in Ballybeg. Mass will be held upon arrival at 10 am, followed by burial in Kilbarry Cemetery.
