Notice: Michael Kavanagh, of Ballytegan Road, Ballytegan, Gorey, Co. Wexford, passed away peacefully at his home on July 22, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan and loving father of Carole, Margaret, and the late Susan. Michael was also a brother to the late Tom, Jack, Willie, Peter, Patsy, May, Lil, and Peggy. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Funeral arrangements include a viewing at Floods Funeral Home in Gorey on July 26, from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm. The removal will take place on July 27 at 10.30 am to St. Michael’s Church in Gorey for a funeral Mass at 11.00 am. Burial will occur at a later date in London. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Gorey Meals On Wheels.
