Notice: Michael McAteer, formerly of Connolly Gardens in Inchicore, passed away on July 18, 2023, while in the care of staff at Tallaght Hospital. He is survived by his wife Rosaleen, as well as his extended family, neighbors, and friends. McAteer will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The funeral arrangements for McAteer include a period of repose at Fanagans Funeral Home in Tallaght Village on July 24th from 2pm to 5pm. The following day, on July 25th, there will be a removal from the funeral home to St. Killian’s Church on Ballymount Road in Kingswood Heights, Dublin 24. There will be a Funeral Mass at 10am at St. Killian’s Church, followed by burial at Newlands Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made to Our Lady’s Hospice Harold’s Cross, a charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of patients and their families.
