Michael {Mick} Dempsey

Notice: Michael Dempsey, a resident of Castlehill, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon died peacefully on May 9th, 2023, at Roscommon Hospital with his family by his side. He was 60 years old. Michael, also known as Mick, was married to Ethna and a loving father of Rachael. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Sonny, sister Mary, and sister-in-law Sheila. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, daughter, son-in-law, brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Mick’s remains will be at McDonagh’s Funeral Home, Castlerea, from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday. His funeral will take place at St. Bride’s Church, Ballintubber, on Friday, followed by a burial in Ballintubber Cemetery. The family has requested no flowers, only donations to Mayo/Roscommon Hospice. Rest in peace, Michael Dempsey.
