Notice: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Howley, known affectionately as Mickey, of Curradrish, Foxford. He passed away peacefully in the care of the compassionate staff at The Mayo Hospice in Castlebar.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Agnes, sisters Roisin and Mary, brother Martin, nephew Aidan, and Claire, the mother of their children.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Martin, Vincent, Eamon, Catherine, Stephen, and Paul, along with his sisters Agie, Kathleen, and Joan, brother Noel, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family, friends, and neighbors.

A funeral service for Mickey will be held at The Church of The Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph in Attymass on Monday at 12 midday, followed by burial in Bonnifinglas Cemetery via Curradrish. The service can be viewed online at http://www.facebook.com/stjosephschurchattymass.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Mayo Hospice in Mickey’s honor are appreciated. He passed away peacefully under the care and kindness of The Mayo Hospice in Castlebar.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Martin and Agnes, along with his sisters, Roisin and Mary, and brother, Martin. He was also preceded by his nephew, Aidan, and Claire, the mother of his children.

Mickey leaves behind his children, Martin, Vincent, Eamon, Catherine, Stephen, and Paul, as well as his sisters, Agie, Kathleen, and Joan, and brother, Noel. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
