Michael Mullins

Notice: Michael Mullins, also known as Mike the plumber, passed away peacefully at his home in Mullins’ Cross Garryvoe on June 30, 2023. He was surrounded by his beloved wife of 51 years, Maura, and their adoring family. Michael was a loving father to Lorraine Turner, Nicola Barry, Aisling, and the late infant Michael Jnr. He was also a cherished grandfather to Isabelle, Mikey, and Lily Turner.

Michael will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family. He had a close bond with his siblings Noreen Weygang, Mary Dono, Eleanor Herlihy, and Kieran Mullins, as well as his brothers-in-law Ron and Maurice Ahern. He was preceded in death by his sister Rita O’Mara, brother James Mullins, and brothers-in-law Gerald Ahern and John Herlihy.

Friends, neighbors, and all those who knew Michael will remember him with love and his memory will be cherished. A funeral service will be held on Monday at St. Colman’s Church in Cloyne, following a period of remembrance on Sunday at O’Farrell’s Funeral Home in Midleton.
