In loving memory of Michael Shinnick who peacefully passed away on August 20th, 2023 at The Mercy University Hospital, Cork, at the age of 92. Michael will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his sons Brian and Mark, daughter Ann, son-in-law Ismail, daughter-in-law Liz, grandsons Tomás and Colm, as well as his nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, and countless friends. May he find eternal peace.
To honor Michael’s life, a rosary will be held at Martin Neligan & Son’s Funeral Home in Fermoy on Monday, August 21st at 8.30pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, August 22nd from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, followed by a procession to St. Patrick’s Church in Fermoy. A Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 23rd at 3pm, with burial taking place afterwards at Kilcrumper Old Cemetery in Fermoy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the NCBI Fermoy {National Council for the Blind of Ireland}.
