Notice: Mick Casey, a resident of Avoncore Place in Midleton and formerly of Carrigtwohill, passed away peacefully at home on July 26th, 2023. He was surrounded by his beloved wife Eileen and their children Kiara, Ken, Edel, Kelvin, Jodie, Megan, and the late Leon. Mick was also a loving grandfather to Kristilee, Saoirse, Saoirse, Lola, Aoife, Kayden, Jacob, Sadie, and the late James and baby Tristan. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Margaret, Geraldine, Mary, Catherine, Ned, Johndy, Teresa, and the late Joseph. Mick’s wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family, as well as his colleagues, friends, and neighbors, deeply mourn his loss.
Mick’s funeral arrangements include a Reposing at his home on Avoncore Place, followed by a Mass at the Church of The Most Holy Rosary in Midleton. The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 31st, with burial in the adjoining Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be live-streamed through the Midleton Parish website.
