Notice: Myra Buckley, age not specified, passed away peacefully at Blackrocks Nursing Home in Foxford, Co. Mayo. She was formerly from Glasnevin, Dublin, and Mervue, Cobh, Co. Cork. Myra was predeceased by her parents, David and Kathleen Buckley, as well as her sisters Kathleen, Sr. Olive, and Martina, and her lifetime companion Patsy. She is survived by her beloved sister Sr. Esther, Dolores Goldsberry, and brother David. Myra will be dearly missed by her loving siblings, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Family and friends can pay their respects to Myra at McGowan’s Funeral Home in Ballina on Sunday, with the removal taking place at 12 noon to St. Muredach’s Cathedral in Ballina. The Requiem Mass will follow at 12.30pm, with burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina. For those unable to attend in person, the funeral Mass will be live-streamed on http://www.ballinaparish.org. The family kindly requests no flowers, but donations can be made to the Blackrocks Nursing Home Patient Comfort Home through McGowan’s Funeral Home in Ballina.
