Nellie {Ellen} Ahern {née Nolan}

Notice: AHERN: Nellie Ahern, formerly of Knockanore, Co. Waterford and a resident of Willow Brook, Tallow, peacefully passed away on May 9, 2023, under the compassionate care of Padre Pio Nursing Home. Nellie, also known as Ellen (nee Nolan), hailed from Cahir and was the beloved wife of the late John and mother-in-law of the late Matthew Wilson.

She leaves behind her devoted daughter Janet Wilson, cherished grand-daughter Rebecca Wilson, brother Joe Nolan (Clonmel), sister-in-law Maureen Nolan, cousin Rev. Fr. Con Moloney (Carlow), nieces, nephews, Sarah Collins, relatives, neighbors, and friends, all deeply saddened by the loss.

Nellie will be laid to rest at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tallow, following a viewing at Aidan Walsh & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am, followed by burial in the adjacent cemetery.
