Notice: Nora Carmody {nee Buckley} of Glashnacree, Lyreacrompane, Co. Kerry, passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2023, at University Hospital in Kerry. She was the beloved wife of the late Christy and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, friends, and neighbors. Nora’s sons Michael, Pat, and Christy, daughter Mary, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Breda, and Anne, son-in-law Peter, as well as her brother Pat, sister Margaret, and other relatives, mourn her loss.
Nora’s body will be at rest at Lyons Funeral Home in Derry, Listowel, on Wednesday evening from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Her funeral will take place on Thursday morning at The Sacred Heart Church in Lyreacrompane. The Requiem Mass will commence at 11.00 a.m. followed by burial at Kilshenane Cemetery on Tralee Road in Listowel.
