Notice: Nonie Leonard, a resident of Cashel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Coolaney and Riverstown, Co. Sligo passed away peacefully on May 31st, 2023, surrounded by her family. Nora, also known as Nonie, was the beloved wife of the late Kevin and sister of the late Patrick and Roger. Nora’s family, including her children Evangeline, Kevin, Petrina, Desmond, and Olivia Quinlan, will miss her greatly. Nora’s 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, as well as her sister Una, two daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, will mourn her loss. Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Home on June 2nd, 2023, Nora’s funeral will take place on June 3rd, 2023, at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist and St Patrick’s Rock, followed by burial in the adjacent cemetery. The family has requested that flowers not be sent.
