Notice: Noreen, wife of late James, passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2023 in her 93rd year with her family by her side. She will be deeply missed by her children Margaret, Danny, Mary, James and Tim, sons-in-law James and Donal, daughters-in-law Margaret and Kathleen, grandchildren Eoin, Tadhg, Connie, James, Seanie and Maighréad along with relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers John and Paudie Cronin. The rest of her family requests the presence of well-wishers and friends for the viewing at the Community Hall, Whiddy Island on May 6th and May 7th. A ferry service will be provided at specific times to ensure the convenience of guests.
The vigil prayers ceremony will be held at Coakleys Funeral Home on May 7th followed by the requiem Mass on May 8th at St. Finbarr’s Church, Bantry and later, internment at the Abbey Cemetery. Family flowers are strictly requested, and donations in lieu to West Cork Palliative Care c/o Bantry General Hospital. The family has requested heartfelt condolences to be shared below. May she rest in peace.
