Notice: Olive, formerly of Flower Hill, Navan and Drumcondra, Dublin, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family and the caring staff of Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Oliver, daughter Sheila, and sisters Maeve and Dorothy. Olive leaves behind her loving daughters Joan Powell, Anne English, and Catherine O’Reilly, as well as her devoted grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Joan Callaghan, sons-in-law James, John, and Dermott, nieces, nephews, relatives, lifelong friend Marion, and wonderful neighbors and friends. Olive’s funeral services will be held at her residence on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 3pm to 7pm, with the Funeral Mass taking place at St. Oliver’s Church in Blackcastle, Navan on Wednesday morning at 10am, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Boyne Road, Navan.
Olive’s passing marks a great loss for her family, who will deeply miss her. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought joy to those around her. She was also a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship. Olive will be laid to rest in a peaceful cemetery where she can find eternal rest. May she rest in peace.
