Notice: After a long and difficult battle with illness, P J passed away peacefully at Galway Hospice, surrounded by his beloved family. He was preceded in death by his daughter Philomena, as well as his parents James and Annie, brother Jimmy, and sister Mary Craughwell. P J will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Christina and Trisha, sons-in-law Conor and Andy, cherished grandchildren Aaron and Dylan, his brother John, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and a multitude of friends. May P J’s kind soul find eternal peace. The funeral arrangements include a viewing at Corrandulla Mortuary Chapel on Thursday evening, followed by the burial ceremony at Annaghdown Cemetery on Friday morning. The Requiem Mass will take place at St. Brendan’s Church in Corrandulla. The funeral Mass will be live-streamed and broadcast on parish radio for those unable to attend in person. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Galway Hospice.
