Notice: Patricia Motherway, of Maytown, Ballycotton and formerly Rosary Place, Midleton, passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2023 at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice in Cork. She was the beloved wife of the late Ted, a wonderful mother to Kelly Ann, and an adoring grandmother to Éabha Ann and Alannah. Pat will be dearly missed by her loving family, sisters Theresa and Pearl, nieces, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Marymount Hospice in Cork. A condolences link is also available for those who would like to send a message of support to the family. Pat will be reposing at Hyde’s Funeral Home in Midleton on Monday, July 31st, from 5pm to 6:30pm. On Tuesday, August 1st, her cortège will briefly pause at her home in Maytown at 1:30pm before proceeding to St. Colmcille’s Church in Churchtown South for a Requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by burial at St. Colman’s Cemetery in Cloyne.
