Notice: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Downey, formerly known as Dunne, of Cherrygarth, Portlaoise. She peacefully departed on April 3rd, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at the Beacon Hospital. Patricia was a beloved mother to Careena, Lindsey, and Kim, and a cherished grandmother to Luca and Noah. She will be dearly missed by her sons-in-law Andrew and Luke, as well as her brothers-in-law Dick, Jim, and Tony, and sisters-in-law Lucy, Eileen, and Deirdre. Patricia also leaves behind nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, and friends. May she rest in peace. Visitation will be held at her residence {R32F5PE} on Friday evening from 4pm until the rosary at 8pm. A funeral service will take place on Saturday morning at SS Peter and Pauls church at 12 noon, followed by interment at SS Peter and Pauls cemetery in Portlaoise. Please respect the family’s privacy by keeping the house private on Saturday morning.”
