Notice: Patrick {Paddy} Neville O’Brien passed away peacefully on April 17th, 2023, at St James’s Hospital’s cardiac care unit, where he was under the care of their kind staff. His parents Margaret {née Neville} and James, as well as his sister Margaret {Croke}, had predeceased him. Survivors include his siblings Madeleine, Rosemary {Hamrogue}, and Jimmy, as well as his nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Paddy will be fondly remembered by his colleagues and friends from the Railway Records Society and the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland.

Reposing will take place at Fanagans Funeral Home on Thursday {20th April} from 3 pm to 5 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday {21st April} in the Church of Sts. Columbanus and Gall at Milltown at 1130 am, which can be viewed on this link: https://www.milltownparish.ie/web-cam/. Donations to The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland {RPSI} are welcome in his honor.

Patrick Neville O’Brien, known fondly as Paddy, passed away on April 17th, 2023. He will be missed greatly by his siblings, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Paddy was a valued member of the Railway Records Society and the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland who will also miss his contributions. Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, in the Church of St. Columbanus and Gall, and can be watched via weblink for those who cannot attend. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland.
