Notice: Patrick {Paddy} Moran, formerly of Lusmagh, Co. Offaly and residing in Beaumont, Dublin 9, passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2023 at St Francis Hospice, Raheny. He was the beloved husband of Carol and the much-loved father of Angela, Cronan, and the late Rory. Paddy was also a cherished grandfather to Caralyn, Dylan, Lily, and Holly. He is survived by his siblings Sr. Mary, Vera, Bernie, Barbara, Liam, Noel, Michael, Joe, and the late Kate and Tom. Paddy will be deeply missed by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and neighbors.
The funeral arrangements began with a repose at Staffords Funeral Home in Maypark, Donnycarney. The public was invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, July 25th from 5pm to 7pm. The removal took place the following morning, with a mass at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Donnycarney at 11am. Paddy was laid to rest in St Fintans Cemetery in Sutton. For those unable to attend the service, it was available to be viewed live on the Donnycarney Parish website.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to be made to St Francis Hospice via their website. A section was also provided for messages of condolence to be left for Paddy’s loved ones. May he rest in peace.
