Notice: Patrick Hunt, affectionately known as Paddy or Pat, passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2023, at the age of 97. He had a brief illness and was surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Patrick was the beloved husband of the late Betty and the devoted father of Liz, Pat, Michael, and Joseph. He was also the cherished grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of seven. Patrick was predeceased by his son Peter and his brother Jimmy. He will be greatly missed by his family, sisters Rita and Phyllis, as well as his extended family, neighbors, and friends.
His wake will be held at his home on Tuesday evening, August 1st, from 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday morning, August 2nd, at the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road. Patrick will be laid to rest in Killaveney Cemetery, Tinahely, Co.
