Patrick {Patsy} {Noel} BYRNE

Notice: Patrick Byrne, also known as Patsy or Noel, passed away in St. James’s Hospital on May 11, 2023. He had been a beloved brother to Vera and Maureen and will be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Byrne had been a great friend to The Alice Leahy Trust for more than forty years, and he had also been a constant companion to the Iveagh Hostel staff during that time. He was a loving member of the Iveagh Trust community and will be dearly missed by all who knew him there and at the Alice Leahy Trust. A funeral service is scheduled to take place on May 15, 2023, at Fanagans Funeral Home in Aungier Street. Byrne’s remains will then be directly taken to Glasnevin Cemetery for burial.

Patrick Byrne, known as Patsy or Noel, passed away on May 11, 2023, at St. James’s Hospital. He was survived by his sisters, Vera and Maureen, as well as loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Byrne had been a dedicated member of the Iveagh Trust community and the Alice Leahy Trust for over forty years, where he had made many friends. Both organizations reported that he would be sorely missed. Reposing will be held on May 15, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Fanagans Funeral Home on Aungier Street. After the service, his remains will be directly transported to Glasnevin Cemetery for burial. The family has requested no flowers at the funeral service.
