Notice: Patrick Towey, formerly of Ballinisland, Foxford, Co. Mayo, passed away peacefully on July 24th at University Hospital, Waterford. He is survived by his wife Sheila, sons Gerard, Aidan, and David, daughters Ann and Fiona, and their respective spouses and children. He is also mourned by his sister Eileen, sisters-in-law Sheila and Dolores, brother-in-law Liam, as well as nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends. Patrick’s parents, brother, and sisters predeceased him.

Patrick’s remains will be held at The Kiely Funeral Home in Dungarvan on July 26th for visiting and prayer, with Prayers at 6.30 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be held on the following day at St. Augustine’s Church in Abbeyside, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the Requiem Mass will be livestreamed online.
