Notice: Peggy Riordan, formerly known as Peggy Lyne, peacefully passed away at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was the cherished wife of the late Jimmy and sister of the late Jerh Lyne. Peggy was a beloved mother to Joan, Mary, Connie, Michael, and James, and will be deeply missed by her children, brother Timmie, grandchildren Jennifer, Frank, Seamus, Sharon, Lisa, Michael, Jeremiah, Marguerite, Eileen, Conor, Ciara, Ella, Jamie, and great grandson Matthew. She was also loved by her sons-in-law Micí McSweeney and Francis O’Shea, daughters-in-law Kathleen and Pauline, as well as her brother-in-law Michael Riordan, sister-in-law Mary McGroary, relatives, and neighbors. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Quill’s Funeral Home in Kilgarvan, friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects on Sunday, July 30th from 6:30pm to 8pm. A rosary will be recited at 8pm. The funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 31st at St Patrick’s Church in Kilgarvan at 11am, followed by burial in the local cemetery. Those who wish to offer condolences can do so below.
