Peter Gaynor

Notice: Gaynor Peter, who worked as an employee of Iarnrod Eireann and McCairn’s Motors, passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2023, at Blanchardstown Hospital, North Strand. Peter was a cherished grandad and great-grandad, and a loving father of Barbara, Peter, Keith, David, Eileen, Angela, Graham, Terry, and Leanne. His wife, Carmel, preceded him in death. Gaynor Peter’s relatives, neighbours, friends, nephews, and nieces will miss him deeply.

Family, including sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, will receive friends on May 8th between 5 pm and 7 pm at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand. The following day, May 9th, his funeral will start with a Requiem Mass at 10am at the Church of the Visitation, Fairview, before cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. If people wish to donate, they are encouraged to do so for Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland instead of sending flowers. With sorrow in their hearts, Gaynor Peter’s family says, “May he rest in peace.”
