Notice: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved
father, who peacefully left this world on July 27, 2023, at the UHG in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Although originally from Co. Roscommon, he will forever be remembered and missed by his loving family, relatives, members of the Deaf community, neighbors, and friends. The funeral arrangements have been made for Sunday, July 30 at The Holy Family Funeral Home in Mervue, Galway, with a reposing period from 4pm until 5.30pm. The following day, a funeral
mass will be held at The Holy Family Church in Mervue at 9.30am, followed by a private cremation. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Irish Deaf Society. The family would also like to express their gratitude for the support and kindness shown during this difficult time.
