Powell of Crossmahon, Bandon, peacefully passed away on August 20th, 2023 while under the compassionate care of the Staff at Care Choice in Clonakilty. Peter, beloved husband of Jean and cherished father of Brian and Mark.
He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, sons, daughters-in-law Rosemary and Claire, grandchildren Tara, Grace, Gary, Patrick, and Orla, great-grandchildren Freddie, Anna, and Tadhg, as well as extended family, neighbors, and friends.
The viewing for Peter will take place at Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home in Bandon on Wednesday evening, starting at 6pm. Prayers will be held at 7pm.
Due to ongoing road construction on South Main Street in Bandon, it is recommended to access the Funeral Home through Riverview Shopping Centre or Chapel Street.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11.30am at St. Peter’s Church in Bandon, followed by the cremation at The Island Crematorium in Ringaskiddy.
