Notice: Peter Sheridan, formerly of Cabra and late of Ballymun, passed away on July 24th, 2023. He died peacefully after a brief illness, while under the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Raphael’s Ward at Mater Hospital. Peter was the beloved husband of the late Maureen and the loving father of Susan, Martina, Vicky, Denise, Paul, Jennifer, Louise, Dean, Chantelle, and the late Peter and Elaine. He was also a cherished brother to Tom, Lynda, James, Marie, Patrick, and the late Robert and Michael. Peter will be greatly missed by his family, ten grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbors.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, July 29th, at 10am at the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road, followed by burial at Dardistown Cemetery. Prior to this, a viewing and a time to pay respects will take place on Friday evening, July 28th, from 7pm to 8pm at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home in Ballymun. For those unable to attend in person, the funeral Mass will be available to view online at the following link: https://olv.ie/webcam/. Flowers from friends and family are kindly declined, and instead, donations can be made in Peter’s memory to the Irish Cancer Society.
