With his beloved family by his side and the dedicated care of the staff at Marymount Care Centre, Vincie peacefully passed away. He was the devoted husband of the late Kathleen and the brother of the late Fr. Joe. Remembered fondly as a cherished father to Phelim and Leo. Vincie will be deeply missed by his sons, daughters-in-law Rosemary and Áine, grandchildren Aoibhe, Liam, Caitlín, Tom, Paddy, and Liadha, as well as his siblings, close cousins, and their spouses Fr. Leo, Paddy, Margaret, Jackie, Moira, Jimmy, Lis, Bro. Tony, Ann, Mick, Kay, Seán, Norman, Nora, Peter, Sue, John, Sheila, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
The wake will take place at his residence {A85DP83} on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Oliver Plunkett’s Church in Kilcloon on Friday at 11am, followed by the procession to St. Mary’s Church in Aughnasheelin, Co. Leitrim, expected to arrive at approximately 5.30pm. Burial will be held on Saturday at Emlybeg cemetery in Belmullet, Co. Mayo, anticipated to begin at 2pm.
