Notice: Philip Gillespie, formerly of Buncrana and most recently residing at The Demesne, Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon, passed away peacefully at home on May 18th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. His wife Anne, son Shane, and daughters Emma and Janine are left heartbroken, along with their children, Philip’s beloved grandchildren. He was recently pre-deceased by his eldest son Declan, and is survived by his cherished siblings and extended family. The family has requested no flowers, and that those who wish to pay their respects do so via a donation to the Irish Kidney Association or the Roscommon Palliative Homecare Team. Due to current restrictions, the funeral will follow social-distancing guidelines with limited attendees, however, the funeral mass will be available to watch live via The Gibbons Funeral Home Facebook page.
