Notice: On July 26th, 2023, an 89-year-old woman formerly from Ballina, Co. Tipperary, peacefully passed away on her birthday at University Hospital Limerick. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments. This dear woman was predeceased by her husband John and her son John Jnr. She is deeply missed by her son Gerard, daughters Mary, Deirdre, and Eilish, as well as her grandchildren Suzanne and Deniz. She is also survived by her sister Christina, Rita, and Veronica, as well as extended family, kind neighbors, and friends. May her beautiful soul find peace.
Her family will be holding a viewing at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Scariff on Saturday, July 29th, starting at 5pm. Funeral prayers will be offered at 7pm. A requiem mass will follow on Sunday at 2pm, followed by her burial in the New Cemetery Moynoe in Scariff. Those who wish to make donations can contribute to the ICU at University Hospital Limerick. The mass will be livestreamed on the Sacred Heart Church – YouTube page for remote viewing.
