Rachel {Frances} Hayes

Notice: Rachel {Frances}, who resided in Larchvale, Moneygall, and Portlaoise passed away peacefully at Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally, Co. Laois on May 21st. She is survived by her sisters, Iris Ruddock {Carlow}, Hilda Colbourne {Birr}, and Carmel Birney {Mountrath}, as well as her sons Peter and Duncan and their families, brother-in-law Raymond, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Rachel will be laid to rest at the Templeharry Church, following a funeral service scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday, which will be preceded by a visitation at Donovan’s Funeral Home in Moneygall on Tuesday evening from 7 pm to 8 pm.

The family of Rachel is grateful to those who have shown their love and support during the difficult time. This loss has left a void in the lives of Rachel’s loved ones, but they take solace in the knowledge that she is now “safe in the arms of Jesus.
