Notice: Dick Daly, a former Dublin City Council member and resident of James’s Street Flats in Dublin 8, died peacefully at St James’s Hospital. He will be missed by his loving wife Annie, son Keith, daughter Ann, daughter-in-law Jennifer, son-in-law Charlie, and grandchildren Scott, Adam and Alex, as well as his siblings, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. A funeral mass will be held in St James’s Church on James’s Street, followed by a cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, where cremation prayers will be held. Friday 19 May will see him reposing at St James’s Hospital Mortuary Chapel. Those unable to attend the funeral mass or cremation can view the live stream online. The family asks for charity donations instead of flowers and has offered condolences via their website.
