Rita Lavelle {formerly Heaton} of Killinarden, Tallaght and previously from Whitehall, passed away on August 20th, 2023 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her beloved family. She will be deeply missed by her heartbroken family, including her adored children Mark and Jessie, her grandchildren Zach, Tomás, and Uma, as well as her daughter-in-law Rea. She is also survived by her brother Bobby, extended relatives, neighbors, colleagues, comrades, and friends.

A wake for Rita will be held at Fanagans Funeral Home in Tallaght Village on Wednesday, August 23rd, from 4pm to 6pm. Her funeral service will take place at Mt. Jerome Crematorium on Thursday, August 24th at 10am.
