Robert {Bob} Smith

Notice: Bob Smith, formerly of Robert Smith Ltd, passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Home in Mahon on June 28th, 2023. He leaves behind his beloved wife Berna, as well as his children Fergus and Ruth. Bob was predeceased by his brothers Richard, Victor, Stuart, and Cecil. He will be greatly missed by his family, including his daughter-in-law Kay, son-in-law Alan, and grandchildren Darragh, Niall, Colm, Conor, Rory, and Aoife. He is also survived by his sister Hilda, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be a service held at St. Luke’s Church in Douglas on Monday, July 3rd at 7pm, followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, July 4th at 2.30pm, also at St. Luke’s Church. Bob will be laid to rest in the adjoining churchyard. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Luke’s Home.
