Robert Simmons

Notice: Robert William Simmons, a former resident of Surrey, United Kingdom, has died at the age of 73. He passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon at Tipperary University Hospital with his wife by his side. Simmons was survived by his wife Averil, daughter Lisa, step-daughter Lisa-Jayne, step-son Scott, sister Vera, grand-daughter Hollie, son-in-law Stephen, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. However, the family had previously lost her son David. A visitation will be held on Monday at Condons Funeral home in Clonmel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday starting at 11 a.m. at Old St Mary’s Church in Clonmel with a cremation ceremony in The Island Crematorium, Cork, following at 2 p.m.
