Notice: Dublin resident Roger Clancy passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones and under the compassionate care of hospice staff. He was survived by his wife Ann and their three children, Linda, Mark, and Andrew, as well as several other family members, including grandchildren and nieces/nephews. The family held a repose at their home on May 10th, and Roger was to be laid to rest on May 11th. The funeral procession was to arrive at Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Kilternan for a 10am mass, followed by cremation at Mt Jerome Crematorium. Instead of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Blackrock Hospice.
The family offered sincere thanks to the care team at Bluebird Care, Rehab Care, and the Blackrock Hospice for their help and support throughout Roger’s illness. Although Roger will be missed by many, his family takes comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.
