RONALD {ROLAND} POWER

Notice: Roland, formerly of New York and Easterfield, Powers Cross, Ballyshrule, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. He was predeceased by his wife Una, sisters Mary T. Felle and Eileen Martin, as well as brothers Paddy Power and Michael Power. Roland will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Eva Abberton, brother Vincent Power, sisters-in-law Elizabeth Power and Bridie Power, brother-in-law Michael McCarty, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbors, friends, and all who knew and loved him. A funeral Mass will be held on June 28th at St. John the Baptist Church in Woodford, Co. Galway, followed by burial in Kilcatherine Cemetery in Beara, Co. Cork. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Galway Hospice.

Reposing will take place at St. Mary’s Funeral Home in Woodford, Co. Galway on June 27th, with removal to the church at 8pm. The funeral Mass can be viewed through a live stream on the provided link. Messages of sympathy can be shared in the Condolence Book.
