Rose Coombes {née Deegan}

Notice: Rose Coombes, formerly of Braithwaite Street and St. Theresa’s Gardens, peacefully passed away on June 25th, 2023, at St. James’s Hospital in Dublin. She was surrounded by her loving family, who admired her courage and dignity during her illness. Rose was a devoted wife to her late husband Arthur and a beloved mother to Barbara, Robert, Brian, and Alan. Her family, including son-in-law Robbie, daughters-in-law Amanda, Ashley, and Shirley, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, and friends, particularly the Whelan family, will deeply miss her but will keep her memory alive in their hearts. May Rose’s soul rest in peace.

Reposing will take place at her home on Wednesday from 4pm to 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 o’clock at St. Catherine’s Church, Meath Street, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. For those unable to attend, the Funeral Mass and cremation service can be viewed online.
