Notice: Sarah Purcell, aged 38 years, peacefully passed away on May 5th, 2023, at Marymount Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Andrew, devoted mother of Zoey, Callum, and Ally, and the cherished daughter of Philip and Riona. Sarah was originally from Mallow, Co. Cork, but lived in Drumdowney, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny. She is survived by her brother, David, and sisters, Susan, Amy, Sandra, and Ellie, along with her extended family members, friends, neighbors, and godmother, Sheila.
Sarah’s funeral will take place at the Church of The Assumption, Slieverue, on Sunday, May 7th, with a requiem mass at 1pm followed by burial in the nearby cemetery. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family has requested that no flowers be sent, but those wishing to donate in memory of Sarah may do so to the Marymount Hospice. Messages of condolence may be left on the funeral home website.
