A wake will be held at Townley’s Funeral Home on Crosslanes, Drogheda, from 4 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday evening. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 11 AM at St Mary’s Church on James Street, which can be viewed online at https://www.stmarysdrogheda.ie/. Following the service, Seamus will be laid to rest in St Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Drogheda Cares for the Homeless.
Seamus Branigan’s sudden passing in Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family, has left his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family devastated. Seamus was a beloved husband to Ann and a devoted father to his three children, Olwyn, Annette, and Niall. His unexpected departure will be deeply felt by his close-knit family, as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, friends, and fellow Choristers.
