Notice: Seamus Cartha Hegarty, a resident of Cashlings, Kilcar, County Donegal, has sadly passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital. Seamus was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary, and great-granddaughter Blaithin. He is survived by his sons PJ, Dermot, Raymond, daughters Marie {Kevin}, Barbara, and 10 grandchildren.
Seamus’s remains will be held at McCabes Funeral Home in Ardara, with visitation hours on Friday, July 28th, from 12pm to 1pm. The funeral procession will then proceed to Seamus’s residence in Cashlings, Kilcar, with arrival expected by 2pm. On Sunday morning, his remains will be moved from his residence to St Cartha’s Church in Kilcar for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
During this difficult time, the Hegarty family respectfully requests privacy from 10pm to 1pm each night and on the morning of the funeral, limiting visitation to family and close friends.
