Notice: Seamus {Jimmy} Galvin, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, has passed away. He is survived by his wife Margaret, children Lisa and Conor, sister Rose, and brother-in-law Brendan. Jimmy also leaves behind his son-in-law Shaun, daughter-in-law Lisa, and his cherished grandchildren Rory, Rìan, and Isobel. He will be greatly missed by his extended family, including nephews, nieces, cousins, as well as neighbors and a wide circle of friends.
The family has arranged for Jimmy to be laid to rest in a funeral service at St. Colmcille’s Church in Ballinahown, with burial afterward in Clonmacnois. Before the service, friends and family are invited to pay their respects and offer condolences during the visiting hours at his residence on Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Irish Heart Foundation or a charity of choice.
Seamus {Jimmy} Galvin will be remembered as a devoted family man with a caring heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
