We sadly announce the passing of Sean Concannon, a resident of Mointeach, Claregalway, Co. Galway on August 11, 2023.
In the comfort of his home, Sean peacefully departed this world, surrounded by his loving family, including his devoted wife.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his beloved wife, Mary {Marie}, along with their children: Sarene {Killererin}, Declan {Mointeach}, Mary {Mointeach}, Niamh {Athenry}, Gretta {Ennistymon}, and Shay {Dunmore}. He is also survived by his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, cherished grandchildren, siblings Padraic {Knocknacarra}, Luke {England}, Katie {England}, Brid {Biddy} {Dublin}, and Maureen {Dublin}, as well as his nephews, nieces, relatives, supportive neighbors, and countless friends.
{He is predeceased by his parents John and Sarah, sisters Sally and Rita, and brother Seamus}.

The visitation of Sean will be held at Síoraíocht {H91 XH02} located within the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St James in Claregalway. The visitation will commence at 4:00 pm on Sunday evening, August 13, 2023, and a removal service to the church of the Assumption and St James in Claregalway will take place at 6:00 pm. His funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, followed by burial in Claregalway Cemetery.
A live broadcast of the funeral Mass will be available on the church’s website at churchtv.ie/claregalway.html.
The funeral Mass will also be broadcasted on 106.4 FM radio, on the parish radio.
